Here are some pictures from my time in Costa Rica! The time here has been such a blessing! I am so grateful for all God has done through us. I am speechless every day to call myself a son of God and to walk out a loving, intimate relationship with Him all my days. To be more in awe of God each day. To understand His great love in greater wisdom. May He continue to be glorified in everything we are doing here!

Some of these pictures are from my talented squadmates. So thankful for the photography of Anjali Joy, Carter Tran, and Wesley Cannon.

Thank you for all your prayers! Prayer holds a power that I will never be able to fully comprehend. I feel the strength of the prayer warriors back home and I can’t thank you all enough!

  1. Thanks for the pictures Samson. Looks like a wonderful country to carry out your mission God has provided for you. Continue to enjoy your time and I know you will be connecting many people with Jesus. Love you.

  2. God is certainly glorified in all you and your team are doing. You are an inspiration to me and you make me want to extend myself further in my love and service to the Lord. Your post was very timely today. You’ve been on my heart and I wanted to send you my love and wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Gramma Jean

  3. Samson thanks for the pics! It warms our hearts on this bitterly cold day here in Iowa not only seeing the lush greenery but to see God working and what an amazing adventure it is to follow Him!

  4. I understand. Words often cannot do justice for the experience of being there. Thanks for the inside intimate views of the daily life and ministry (guessing Back Porch is at Project Abraham because I’ve only heard and never been). Thanks for the post

  5. Oh to see the world through your young eyes and experience the amazing the things you have done is a gift from God. Bless your team for being who they are and hearing the Lord speak to them on this wonderful mission he has brought you all on. I wish more young people could have read your blogs and seen the pictures to know how wonderful your volunteering has been. Best of all to know that it was all brought on by the Lord. What an amazing young man you are Samson and what a delight you are to your family. Your young eyes and your insight to the world has been a joy to me to read and see how God has touched your heart and touched so many other hearts in Costa Rica. I’ll continue to pray for you and your group. Your great works will glorify our Lord.

  6. Oh, sweet Samson. What joy when I opened my computer and found this new message from you–and with pictures no less. I have been longing to see your current world. I have no doubt that you are making an impact on those whom God places in your path. In my Bible study the other morning Mrs. Simms commented that she never knew when was teaching you Spanish, that some day you would be using it for God’s work. I give praise to Him for the ways He works in the lives of those who follow His will! Grandpa and I pray for you daily. It brings us great comfort and pleasure. And by the way, we love Tuesdays! Love you mucho, Grams
