If I stand in where I am with the Lord and look back at my old identity, my testimony clearly shows what He has done for me. Something God called me to journal about however was what He means to me. To dive into my devotion for Him. The why behind my faith. I hope I can shine a light on God’s goodness through my answer and to inspire others in the Truth. Here is my answer…
Jesus gives me a purpose. Without Jesus there is no purpose, nothing that will last. Your fulfillment will run dry and you will never be satisfied. The most important part of the Gospel for me is that Jesus has made me alive in Him. Without Jesus there is nothing. But because He gave His life on the cross for me, I am made worthy in God’s eyes. Jesus blesses us with the Holy Spirit, a beautiful advocate for following God’s plan. Jesus gives me hope where there was no hope. A life to lead that spreads blessings upon blessings, fruit upon fruit. It is a pathway that is filled by the Lord’s great love, joy, peace, and hope. Qualities I have never truly felt outside of God’s Kingdom. It allows me to be secure in whose I am rather than constantly battling to find security in the things I do. It casts out fear of acceptance and worthiness of being loved because the creator of this universe says I am not only accepted, but I am His child. A child that is as deeply loved as the Lord loves Jesus. It shows me that the reward is not just in Heaven, but that we can receive God’s great love while we are here on earth. We can experience His true fulfillment that makes us never run thirsty again. A confidence in who we are that urges us to bring this good news to others. To fall into God’s plan rather than our own because we could never fathom the great inheritance He will give us as we carry out His will. It allows you to rest in the Lord rather than fighting to obtain something more. You already have it all in His name. Nothing will fulfill you other than Jesus. Coping mechanisms will never bring joy. Material items will never fulfill you. Only when God is at the center of your life will fulfillment come and blessings rain down on your life.
Where is God in your life? Because for me He will always be in the center. Because of what Jesus has done for me I can live on earth with joy. I can be fulfilled in God’s calling for my life, bringing that love and hope to all those I meet. To fight constantly for the Lord until my last breath because He is worthy of it all. To rise into Heaven on that day and to not only hear this is my son in whom I am well pleased, but to embrace my Father who already says I am enough.
There is so much more to the Lord and He reaches each individual differently. This was just a short overview of what He means to me in this season and I encourage you to find your reasoning for hope in the Lord.
You are growing in the Lord, and you have my heart 🙂

With this attitude and determination you will be such an influence to those you encounter these next months! “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
Samson, kingdom warrior, I have read this blog over and over and I was so awed by your testimony that I could not find the words to respond. today I read this Scripture: “Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe. . .” I think you are definitely shining like a star in the universe and the light comes from your love for Jesus. Thank you for sharing what Jesus means to you.
